St. Louis, Mo., June 22, 2010 – The Better Business Bureau (BBB) has revoked the accreditation of All American Real Estate Co. of Galatia, Ill., and Premier Contracting & Development of Grover, Mo., for violations of the BBB Accreditation Agreement.

The BBB Board of Directors took these actions on June 15, 2010, at the recommendation of its Ethics Committee. No representative of either firm attended the May 18, 2010, hearing before the Ethics Committee.

All American Real Estate Co., P.O. Box 165, Galatia, Ill., was notified on numerous occasions between Sept. 23, 2009, and April 27, 2010, regarding a customer complaint. After initially responding to the complaint, the firm failed to make a good faith effort to resolve the issue.

Premier Contracting & Development, 17241 New College Ave., Grover, Mo. was notified on numerous occasions between Jan. 4, 2010, and April 27, 2010, regarding a customer complaint. The firm failed to respond to the complaint.

BBB Accredited Businesses are required to respond to customer complaints, to make a good faith effort to resolve complaints, and to honor arbitration decisions.  Failure to do so is considered prejudicial to the best interests of the BBB and private enterprise.

According to the BBB and its Board of Directors, BBB Standards of Accreditation are designed to offer consumers confidence before they make purchasing decisions. Expulsion from accreditation status is unfortunate; however, enforcing accreditation standards is taken very seriously. These standards also are applied to new applicants that can be denied accreditation if not in compliance.

Consumers are urged to contact the BBB at (314) 645-3300 or www.stlouis.bbb.org  for a firm's Reliability Report or charity report before doing business.
